My husband and me moved to the UK from Bangalore a year ago, and decided to take our Yorkshire terrier and Doberman along with us – a decision that would not have been possible without Pawsome and the amazing services they offer. With Angel, my yorkie’s travel, they made every step seem so effortless, including the paperwork, taking her to the airport, and providing regular updates right from her departure from Bangalore to her arrival in Heathrow. She also provided us with instructions on the processes at the Heathrow Animal Reception Centre and kept checking with us as to whether everything was okay.
For Coco, my doberman, the process became more complicated. One – she is quite big and therefore it was difficult to fit her in conventional transport modes. Second, once we did look like we found an airline that would take her on – Emirates, we realised that Dobes are a banned breed in Dubai where these planes make a transit. At this point Devyani and Neeraj provided us with several options and helped us make a choice as to the most cost-effective and practical option – to fly her into Paris and then transport her by road into the UK. They were extremely helpful throughout the process and took care of every step including the paperwork, liaising with a French pet transport company for the last leg of Coco’s travel into the UK. Thanks also to Danny for taking care of details that my elderly parents (who were temporarily looking after Coco) would probably not have been able to manage on their own – obtaining her health and travel certificates, deworming her, bringing her crate home, and taking her to the airport.
We cannot thank them enough for enabling Angel and Coco’s safe travels and highly recommend Pawsome’s services for all our woofy friends who need to see the inside of an aeroplane at any time of their lives!
